DeRozan, Raptors end Cavaliers' streak with 99-84 Game 3 win

Biyombo grabbed a franchise playoff record 26 rebounds and added seven points and four blocks.

In Toronto, where "We The North" is a rallying cry, a sell-out crowd dressed in red and white T-shirts helped its team improve to 7-2 at home in these playoffs. The Raptors get their chance to level the series on Monday night.

"We're not quitting", said coach Dwane Casey.

"I'm not trying to sell a call".

"I think it's good for them because it's the first adversity they've faced in a while", James said. The Cavaliers were aspiring to be the third team in National Basketball Association history to start 11-0 in the playoffs, with the 1989 and 2001 Los Angeles Lakers representing the only squads to complete such a feat. The Lakers did it in 1989 and again in 2001. While LeBron James has been his all-planet self thus far and has received plenty of help from Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, Casey grew exhausted of being asked to praise Cleveland's Big Three.

Outside of that final moment of the game, Biyombo was the one who inflicted physical punishment on the Cavaliers. Lowry scored eight points despite picking up his second four at 5:40 as Toronto led 30-24 after one. The Raptors led by 13 at the half, 60-47, and withstood a few runs from the Cavaliers in the second half to win 99-84.

"We can't have a lapse", DeRozan said. "Without him, we probably wouldn't get this win". They took more 3's (41) than 2's (38), and when the shots from beyond the arc went clanks, the Cavs failed to change their gameplan. "He did a great job of protecting the paint and he had eight offensive rebounds, which gave them more energy". They were more active. Joseph dribbled down and hit a stunning buzzer-beating three-pointer to send the Raptors into the final quarter up 80-70. "Those guys will be better".

"We just had a bad night but give them credit, they played well", Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said.

Will the Cavaliers take a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals? It's just that a series never starts until both teams have played at home. "I missed countless threes that I thought were good and that I made last series".

J.R. Swish: J.R. Smith hit three treys in the first quarter and had 11 points to start the game.

To say that the Raptors played differently once the series moved to the Air Canada Centre is to say that a bunny rabbit is a moose.

The Toronto Raptors crushed any ideas that they were going to be swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.

There was a confrontation in the first half when Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll was handed a technical foul after Tristan Thompson accidentally elbowed LeBron James. Biyombo was in the middle of that comedy of errors too, after taking issue with Thompson's rough play under the basket and having to be separated by Cory Joseph, who shoved Thompson away. Kevin Love was scoreless in 17 minutes; he combined with Raptors scourge Kyrie Irving to make 3 of 16 shots.

"They played an exceptional game tonight". At the end of the day, the Cavaliers will only go as far as those three players take them.

"I can't afford to react in any kind of way that will get me thrown out of a game", James said.

Lue said he had no problem with Biyombo wagging his finger, Dikembe Mutombo-style, after blocked shots.
