Deposition text: Cosby's wife refused to answer many queries

In Massachusetts, Camille Cosby testified that she had no knowledge that her husband allegedly gave women drugs and had sex with them, according to a transcript of her deposition released Friday.

Although discovery and depositions are continuing in the various civil suits against him, none of it involves Cosby himself yet.

Bill has refuted all sexual assault accusations against him, which led to Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie to file suit claiming that his denial of such allegations are both false and defamatory.

Camille Cosby refused to answer dozens of questions about her famous husband during two days of deposition back in February, USA Today reports. When she was told she was required to answer, she simply said, "I do not have to".

"I do not have an opinion", she said.

Camille Cosby was, again, instructed not to answer.

About 50 women have publicly accused Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them decades ago.

Bill Cosby's legal team has repeatedly denied the allegations.

Constand, a former Temple University employee, initially pursued separate civil action against Cosby, which was settled in 2006. The woman in that case is not part of the defamation suit.

In the deposition, Camille Cosby said she never obtained Quaaludes for her own use or someone else's use.

At one point she was asked "Now, can we agree that throughout your marriage that your husband betrayed the sanctity of your marital home?"

Her attorneys said in a court filing in February that questions posed during the deposition were created to "annoy" and "embarrass" Cosby's wife.

Camille Cosby's February deposition in the MA lawsuit was unsealed Friday by U.S. Magistrate Judge David Hennessy.

Camille Cosby was subjected to intense questioning by the women's lawyer, who repeatedly pressed her to say whether she believes her husband "acted with a lack of integrity" during their 52-year marriage.

Cammarata asked her about Shawn Thompson, a woman who said Bill Cosby fathered her daughter, Autumn Jackson, in the 1970s. One of those depositions was recently unsealed, and she wasn't sharing much of any info.

She was asked to read aloud from her husband's 2005 deposition in which he admitted he'd "had sex and we had dinners and sex and rendezvous" with another woman in the 1970's. He acknowledged he had an affair with her mother and had given her money.

Camille refused to discuss any conversations she had with her husband about the more than $100,000 he admittedly spent secretly supporting Jackson between 1974 and 1994. While initially insisting, "I do not have an opinion", she later admitted, "It was a big deal then, yes", regarding learning about her husband's infidelity decades ago.

Camille Cosby was also questioned on April 19, but that transcript has not been released. A judge ruled she would have to give a deposition but said she could refuse to answer questions about private communications between her and her husband.

Bill Cosby's longtime friend, Hugh Hefner, deposed at the Playboy Mansion on Wednesday for a separate sexually battery case filed.

Bill Cosby's former lawyers have accused Huth of attempting to extort him before filing the case and have tried unsuccessfully to have it dismissed.

The comedian also is fighting Huth's claims that he sexually assaulted her inside the Playboy mansion in 1974 when she was 15 years old.
