More to life than marks, says CBSE class 12 topper

The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) has declared the results of Class 12 on their official website.

Gupta, a student of Montfort School, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi scored 497 marks out of 500. The overall pass percentage recorded across the country was 83.05% as compared to last year's 82%.

Over a million students appeared for the exam, which was held on between March 1 and April 22.

This year it has conducted the 12th Class examination and the candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the results and toppers list from the direct link provided below. The expected time for The CBSE 12th class result is 12:00 PM. However, backed by some innovative measures and clever execution, the board has managed to bring out the CBSE 12th Result 2016 out by May 21.

The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has earlier announced that the results would be declared on time for both Senior Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations.

Students can check the results in CBSE's official website www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in, or call the toll free number 1800 11 8004, if there are any queries. Siddhartha Biswas got 484 marks who is from Kendriya Vidyalaya, RK Puram while Raskhit Malik got 482 marks who is a student of Amity International School, Noida. While he has scored 98 marks in English and Physics, Madhwaraj managed 99 in maths and chemistry. As the marks obtained in the examination help's them in choosing the career which will decide their future.

The second phase of tele-counselling will also be functional from May 21 upto June 4.

The results can also be checked via Android mobile app-DigiResults.

The exams were conducted in the month of March. Therefore, students are suggested not to panic in case the CBSE Result gets stuck in the middle while retrieving.
