Longmont weather: High of 50 with a chance of rain and snow

Per National Weather Service Seattle, Monday's high of 89 degrees was the hottest day in April since they started recording temperature way back in 1894. It will be partly sunny with a high near 61 degrees during the day and a low near 42 degrees overnight.

The weather service predicts similar conditions in Okeechobee County and the Fort Pierce area for today. The low at night will be around 40. The Bay Area will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler on Wednesday and Thursday, Henderson said.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

Wednesday morning opens with sunshine, then daily highs reaching the 60s. Showers are likely through Friday, but it's still mild.

The forecast from the weather service said the showers and isolated thunderstorms will remain in the state until Thursday night, possibly becoming more severe as a front rolls in Wednesday.

Flash flooding is not a significant concern, as the rain continues to fall over a long duration and soak into the parched soil, forecasters said.

Sunday: There is a chance of showers.

FRIDAY: A 50 percent chance of rain.
