Bill Cosby Issued with Arrest Warrant for Sexual Assault

Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Desperate For Wife Camille Cosby Support

Cosby allegedly drugged the woman before the assault, prosecutors said.

"There is a fatal difference now between Cliff Huxtable and Bill Cosby that can never be overcome because Cosby depended as a figure and an icon on the goodwill he established through his characters", said author and professor Michael Eric Dyson, who wrote a book on Cosby a decade ago.

These charges stem from an alleged sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004 at Mr. Cosby's home in Cheltenham Township.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the 78-year-old.

Twitter user Tony McKnight (@williecaine) said: "So no grand jury for 'the Coz'. If only he'd been nicknamed 'the Cop".

Montgomery County's outgoing District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and Steele revisited the investigation into Constand's allegations against Cosby this year.

Bill Cosby was hit today with aggravated indecent assault charges stemming from an alleged 2004 incident in Pennsylvania, according to prosecutors and court documents. Another 20 percent were scored as neutral. Cosby has been accused by dozens of women of sexual misconduct, with many of them coming forward in the past year.

The 12-year statute of limitations to file felony charges in connection to those allegations expires in January, officials said. She calls Cosby a "narcissist" who did not comprehend that she was gay in the new court filings from last summer.

"I don't hear her say anything".

Cosby is expected to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon on a sexual assault charge. Per CNN, Cosby handed over his passport and did not enter a plea. It was settled in 2006 for an undisclosed amount, and a portion of the sworn deposition that Cosby gave in the case was made public earlier this year.

Cosby's lawsuit says Johnson joined other women making accusations against him to revive her waning career and to help sell copies of her memoir.

Cosby also offered a different description of the nature of his relationship with Constand, which he described as social and romantic.

She claimed that she had been tricked into taking drugs before being sexually assaulted by Cosby.

Cosby's lawyer declined to comment on the case before the announcement. During their relationship, Cosby made two advances to her that were rejected before the assault, authorities said.

Defense attorney Barry Slotnick, best known for successfully defending New York City subway vigilante Bernie Goetz, said the burden on the prosecution is high.

"The victim did not consent to any of these acts and reported that she was unable to move or speak and felt "frozen" and 'paralyzed", the district attorney's office said.

The criminal investigation into Cosby in Montgomery County was reopened in July after new evidence came to light, Steele said.

More than 50 women have come forward with claims that Cosby had drugged, and in numerous cases, sexually assaulted them in incidents dating back decades.

"She is receiving numerous communications from women with heart-wrenching accounts of their own experiences", Dolores Troiani said.
