No more Sunburn fest for New Year in Goa?

The Goa government has said that the Sunburn and the Supersonic Electronic Dance Music (EDM) celebrations, which the state has at Vagator and Candolim, separately, won't be held in the crest season of December 15-January 15 from the following year. Thousands of music lovers from across 50 countries gathered for the dance music powerhouse.

The stage was over 200 feet long and had the cranium of a lion at the centre; drawing inspiration from Indian ethnicity, it was titled "Empire of the Sun".

Along with it, the arena had four stages divided into House/Trance/Electronic, Techno/Deep House and Psychedelic, respectively.

Dyro, Nucleya, Paji, Paperqueen and Juliet Sikora set fire to Sunburn with their revolutionary beats and high-octane energy.

The day concluded with the current No. 1 DJs in the world on DJ Mag's annual Top 100 DJs poll, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Day 3 (Tuesday) will feature Martin Garrix as the headliner, with the Russian beauty and Hindi film actress Julia Bliss opening the event over the Main stage followed by more artists - Nelio, DJ Dee, Squidworks, Clement among others. They played their world-famous hits like "Waves, "Wakanda" and 'Mammoth" and a set of dance music anthems.

"We have the world's top DJs". From getting fans to tweet the artists line-up to inviting them to send in 30 sec videos to stand a chance to host Vh1 Supersonic LIVESTREAM on Hungama Music, to short form content series which have potential to open up fiction or reality programming around music festivals and change the way we consume and experience Live Event IP's. More artists like Sam Feldt, Blurry Slur, Bassjackers, Echofloat and Candice Redding will keep the music madness going.

Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar expressed his fear of overcrowding in Goa during the final week of the year, with the more than 10,000 festival attendees and normal tourists assumed to be a group too large for police to handle.
