Donald Trump Attacks Hillary Clinton for Playing 'Women's Card'

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday to lambaste former president Bill Clinton for what the businessman said was a "terrible record of women abuse".

This comes after Clinton's remarks that Trump had "demonstrated a penchant for sexism", which she said was evidenced by the comments he's made during his campaign for the White House.

Last week, Hillary accused Republican canddiate Donald Trump of having a "penchant for sexism" in an interview with the Des Moines Register in Iowa.

"If Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband (Bill Clinton), with his awful record of women abuse, while playing the women's card on me, she's wrong!", Trump said in a Tweet this morning.

New York-based real estate tycoon, Trump has emerged as the top GOP presidential candidate while Hillary Clinton is leading the Democratic race.

Trump got some indirect support from one-time rival Carly Fiorina, who said Monday that knocking Bill Clinton is always "fair game" but said Hillary Clinton's claiming sexism is not. But you're not going to beat Hillary Clinton by attacking Bill Clinton. "You look at whether it's Monica Lewinsky or Paula Jones or many of them", Trump said on "Today". "That was not a pretty picture".
