In Orange County, 33 people have been arrested for DUI, up from the 29 in 2014. Fatalities reported were for all law enforcement agencies. This year there were 35 fatalities over the holiday weekend, compared to 42 in 2014, according to the CHP.

In Los Angeles County during the 36-hour period, CHP officers arrested 88 motorists for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, 24 more than last year's total.
