Jennifer Aniston tries not to "over-commit" during the festive season

However, when they are separated due to their projects, Jennifer admitted that's when the best presents are gifted and received.

Asked her tips on staying sane during the holidays, she said: "Don't over-extend yourself too much".

"I always maintain a healthy regimen in terms of diet and exercise". I take a good multivitamin every day as well. "Having said that-during the holidays I have no problem treating myself to some indulgent foods, but I usually don't go overboard with it in a way that I have to double up the fitness in January". "I like to mix it up with some Power Yoga, treadmill, elliptical machine and low weight training". On most evenings, she eats a salad with proteins and vegetables, but definitely "no tomatoes for lunch!"

"When I'm really wiped out its time to go on a trip", said Jennifer.

In an interview with Goop (the website of Gwyneth Paltrow, another ageless wonder), the 46-year-old actress credits her ageless skin to shut eye and some good old H2O (after all, she is the face of SmartWater).

"I have said this before, but it's the truth-I really think hydration is so important... and sleep!" 

Christmas will also be a time of indulgence for Jennifer, who is known for her glowing complexion and slim physique.

She added: "Being happy is also a key to looking and feeling younger". 

If she is unable to get away, the star would go for a massage or a spa treatment.
